storm 2 °C

Saturday December 4, 2010

Today we all walked down to the mall again through freshly fallen snow. About 1/4-1/2 and inch fell overnight and a little more fell in the time we walked in the mall.

After that, we all came back to the hotel and Nicole stayed in the room because she has a cold, and Brian and the kids went on a long walk. They walked about 4 miles (there and back) to Nyhaven to see a touristy part of Copenhagen and to see where the Queen and Princess lives.
The kids did pretty good. Natalie only had to be carried part of the way. :-)

We still aren't on a Copenhagen schedule yet, we have been staying awake until about 11-12 then sleeping in until 8-9...so hopefully we will get a little better about that.

Today we woke up to some yucky weather. It is supposed to be 2 degrees today with rain and sleet all day. Yuck. We are thinking we will stay in today, but if we get stir-crazy we will maybe take a taxi to the movie theater. Right now we are sitting in our room hanging out, not too exciting.....

Most of the day Nicole spent sleeping in the room with her cold. The kids and Brian were able to hang out in the executive lounge to use the computer, read a book, and have some free coffee, pop, or snacks. :-)

For dinner we all decided to get all suited up and head to dinner a few blocks away. We think it snowed about 4 inches today and it wasn't too cold so the walk was slusshy. But overall, it was a nice walk since it wasn't windy and was around 30 degrees.

Tomorrow we are hoping Nicole feels better and Brian is going to work upstairs in the lounge for part of the day.

Talk to you all soon!
